This position will be a key member of the Operations team with the responsibility for production optimization acitivities on all of our properties. Based in Calgary with frequent travel to Virden this role will be reporting to the VP of Operations; you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team on various projects.
Principal duties and responsibilities are:
- Providing production engineering for the field operations,
- Developing completion and workover programs,
- Monitoring production,
- Researching and implementing pumping systems,
- Researching and developing new technologies,
- Field development and cost reporting.

You bring with you a sound knowledge of production engineering with exposure to rod pumping artificial lift systems; well completions and workovers; waterflood facilities and monitoring. Exposure to oil production facilities would be an asset. We require a minimum B.Sc in Engineering along with registration as a Professional Engineer in Alberta (member of APEGGA)
